BREEAM is an assessment method that evaluates the sustainability of buildings.
More than 100,000 buildings worldwide are already BREEAM certified. The system considers around 70 parameters or credits across nine categories: management, health, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, land use & ecology, and pollution. The use of Woodstoxx products can contribute up to 46 credits.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world’s most widely used green building rating system. LEED certification provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings that deliver benefits in terms of environmental, social, and governance aspects.
The goal of LEED certification is to determine whether a building’s design and construction qualify through a points-based system. Woodstoxx products may qualify under the categories Energy & Atmosphere, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Materials & Resources, contributing to a total of 26 credits.
