Parquet is a living material. And it deserves the right care.

Why careful maintenance is essential for the lifespan of your floor, and why the right products make all the difference. Parquet is a living material that gains character over the years. Taking good care of it is therefore a must.

Not every product is suitable for every type of floor.

A common mistake? Using maintenance products that are not adapted to the specific finish of your parquet. There is a fundamental difference between oiled parquet and parquet finished with UV oil. Each finish has a different composition, unique characteristics and therefore specific needs.

Oiled parquet
Oiled parquet has an open structure that absorbs nutrients. Choose a nourishing maintenance soap based on natural oils. The soap penetrates deeply into the pores of the wood, feeding the floor, preserving its natural sheen, and pushing dirt out of the wood.

UV-oiled parquet
This type of parquet is hardened with UV light. As a result, the surface is harder and less porous. It requires different products that do not “smother” or grease the floor. Instead, use a non-greasy product that protects without sealing off the surface.

Quality calls for care

Even the very best parquet collections remain sensitive to moisture, intensive use, or incorrect maintenance. Proper care is not a luxury, but an investment in the durability and appearance of your floor. Everything starts with choosing the right products.
