As of August 20, 2024, it's official: the stricter European fire safety regulations will come into effect — and with retroactive force. The CWFT table can therefore no longer be used to automatically declare wooden cladding as compliant with reaction-to-fire class D. This means that almost all treated and colored wood types will require their own fire certification starting in August. So, the CWFT table is largely a thing of the past.
