Fassade is a Belgian façade brand that gives architects the freedom to design with timber, supported by a controlled aesthetic evolution through Duricoat.

Architects choose timber for its warmth, character and natural beauty. At the same time, that choice often comes with uncertainty. How will a façade evolve over the years? Will the chosen colour remain intact? Will the façade weather evenly?

Why Duricoat® makes the difference

The performance of Fassade starts long before the finish is applied.

Every Fassade façade begins with carefully selected softwood that is thermally modified. This process enhances the wood’s durability and dimensional stability, achieving performance levels comparable to those of tropical hardwoods. The timber is then brushed, industrially treated with Duricoat® through a controlled Vacumat application process, and protected on the end grain.

Together, these steps create a more uniform façade appearance, a controlled aesthetic evolution, and a façade designed to retain its character over time.
