Fraké

Fraké is a lively fast-growing wood species originating from Gabon. Also called African Oak, Fraké is known for its very robust properties and hard core. With its coarse grain and typical flames and worm holes, this Gabonese wood creates a rustic façade with character.

The golden colour will weather naturally and turn grey over time, resulting in a silver-grey colour. On top of its good durability rating and beautiful colour, Fraké's easy machinability and manual workability make it a popular choice for wooden cladding.
